Miy Recycled Bottle Lantern Craft: Kids Summer Craft Project
"Summer illuminations" Fiesta Lanterns
Looking for a fun way to illuminate summer nights. Make festive lanterns using recycle plastic water or pop bottles. Recycle craft for creative illuminations, ideals the patio, beach parties, BBQ gatherings, at home or at the cottage...always a delight! They are embellished with wire handles and beads.
Kids of all ages can easily makes this colourful creations. It’s a fun project kids can make at home, day camps, or at the cottages. It’s a great project to do with a group of children on a rainy day!

The organizers of the Hudson "First Annual Music Festival and Street Fair Lantern Parade" have selected me to be their feature local artist for the upcoming events. I was total surprised honored to see that they had selected on of my pictures for their poster and publicity. I created these Fiesta lanterns using water and pop bottles with my little assistant Hayden. I will be giving lantern workshops to local day camp kids. The Hudson Music festival and lantern parade events are August 1st, 2009.

For spectacular illumination, I highly recommend to use glow sticks. Glow sticks or flashlights because they are much safer to used and last for hours. Kids can even bring glow sticks lantern in their tents or camps outs.
